Craving pizza? Here's an easy recipe to get your pizza fix in a low carb way...

Ingredients:

1 head of cauliflower

1 egg

pinch of salt

oregano/herbs to taste

Method:

Using a blender, finely chop the cauliflower so that is resembles a fine rice/coarse flour appearance.

Lay it out on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius to dry it out slightly.

Then wring all of the liquid out (this is the most important step and can be the make or break of your pizza base)... when you think it's dry, wring some more (and be careful, as it's very hot!)

Mix the cauliflower with the egg, salt and herbs and lay it out on a baking tray in the desired shape.

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, then turn over, and bank for an additional 20.

Now you can add your toppings and bake for another 20 minutes (or until the cheese has melted). If your oven has a pizza stone, use the appropriate setting and bank for 10-15 minutes.

ENJOY
